Something for Everyone!

BFA Cafeteria, off Fairfield Street, #6 on the map
Fri 10-6, Sat 9-5, Sun 9-4

Sniff the fragrance of maple cooking, and savor the Official Flavor of Vermont! The Bellows Free Academy Cafeteria (off Fairfield Street) is one of the first places where sugarmakers and visitors alike flock, anxious to view the Blue Ribbons awarded by theJudges for the Best Maple Syrup of every grade, the best Maple Cream, Maple Granulated Sugar, Maple Sugar Cakes, Maple Candy, and Maple Fudge.

These and other products can be purchased at the Maple Store located in the Exhibit Hall (click on "Maple Store" at the left). Samples of all grades of syrup are offered for taste testing to help you decide what you might want to choose for gifts, for cooking up those special maple recipes, or for your own table use. New Vermont Maple Syrup on pancakes, waffles or ice cream is always a special springtime treat!!

At colorful displays which tell about Vermont maple, one can view videos of the Vermont Public Television maple cooking shows and the new Maple Foundation production Pure Vermont Maple: Voices from the Sugarwoods; these are shown continuously.

The far end of the Exhibit Hall houses the Cooking Contests and Demonstrations, where visitors delight in tantalizing creations presented by Vermont Adult and Youth cooks, and have the opportunity to learn the maple culinary secrets of cooks and chefs.
