Something for Everyone!

ON THE STREET AND IN THE PARK

There’s so much happening On the Street and in The Park!  Main Street is the home of the Main Street Stage where free entertainment attracts onlookers throughout the day.

There’s a mobile Maple Shop where Pure Vermont Maple Syrup and other maple products are for sale.   Other Maple Delights can be found in several additional concessions - Maple Cotton Candy, Maple Shakes, Maple Sugar-on-Snow are Festival specialties.

And up and down the street the enticing odors of French fries, onion rings, hot dogs and hamburgers with all the fixings, pizza and more - promise to satisfy everyone’s Festival palate.  Families, senior citizens, teens, and every age in between, stroll along the street, indulging in their favorites.  Or enjoying a different kind of feast - a feast for the eyes!  Windows of the shops in downtown St. Albans are decorated with maple scenes, each trying to outdo the other to capture the honor of  being named the business with the best maple display.

In Taylor Park, just east of Main Street, Pure Vermont Maple Syrup samples of all grades are offered from a little sugarhouse.   If it’s a lovely spring day, the picnic tables and benches are popular spots for “time out” from touring the Festival -  and it’s a wonderful place for children to romp down the paths and around the distinguished old maple trees that grace the park

“Ride ‘em cowboy” (and cowgirl)!  The pony ring in the southwest corner of the Park is a great thrill for many young Festival-goers (and their parents and grandparents, with cameras in hand, to snap the photo of that very first pony ride!)
