What would a Maple Festival be without pancakes and sausages for breakfast? A fund raiser for the ARC of Northwestern Vermont, the Pancake Breakfast gets Festival-goers off to a maple-good start on both Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. ‘til noon.
Expect light fluffy pancakes, succulent MacKenzie Maple Sa
usages, and enough Pure Maple Syrup in the constantly refilled pitchers to satisfy the hungry fans of the Flavor of Vermont! Juice, milk and coffee, with extras of ice cream and Cabot cheese samples (donated by Franklin County Dairy Promotion) round out the breakfast, which is truly an old-fashioned, hearty morning meal!
The Pancake Breakfast is held at City Elementary School, on Bellows Street. The build
ing is Handicapped Accessible. It’s number 8 on your map. Travel west on Lake Street to North Elm. Travel north on North Elm to Bellows Street. Tickets, available at the door, are $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children ages 5 to 10, under 5 are free.
