Sugarmakers work hard during the six to eight weeks of the maple sugaring season.  At the end of April we celebrate the new crop!  It’s the Grand Finale of the Maple Season, and it’s time to party - have good maple fun with family, friends and guests.  Then, just as in nature, the cycle begins again - we are all volunteers who make this event happen, so planning for next year’s Festival starts as soon as this year’s is over!

It’s Maple and More at the 42^nd annual Vermont Maple Festival in downtown St. Albans, April 25^th – April 27^th.  There’s something for everyone!  A Maple Exhibit Hall and Contests, Antiques, Crafts, Fiddlers’ Variety, Youth Talent, and Specialty Food Shows, a Sap Run Road Race, Sugarhouse Tours, Pancake Breakfasts, Carnival, Historical Museum, Entertainment, Traditional Maple Treats,  topped off by the Grand Parade!  Handicapped accessible.   www.vtmaplefestival.org  (802) 524-5224.
