2026 Vermont Maple Theme is “Sweet Taste of Spring”

Did you know that April is National Poetry Month? The Vermont Maple Festival is celebrating with a Poetry Contest!

Children 8 and under may enter our Maple Libs category. Maple Lib forms may be picked up at The Eloquent Page, downloaded from our website, or obtained here.

Adults and children under 18 may submit poems up to two pages, or a two-page excerpt of a longer work, for their categories.

Celebrate spring, creativity, and Vermont maple through poetry!
